TRANSLATION

1. When will I be able to say “Hari” and see Madana Mohana? For this form, I will walk to Vraja.

2. When I enter the holy land of Braja, I will be the ankle-bells of the gopis’ feet. I will make sweet sweet sounds. I will behold the pastimes of the cowherd boys and will spread the dust from their feet and apply it to my body.

3. I will behold the vision sweet form of Radha and Krsna in my two eyes. I will remain at the gate of the forest of Vraja. O residents of Vrajabhumi, please fulfill my desire! When will I hear the sweet sound of the flute of Sri Krsna?

4. At the last moment of my life, I will place my body in the Yamuna River and float singing “Jaya Radha Govinda.” Narottama Dasa says, “I am unable to fulfill this desire. When will I become a resident of Vraja bhumi?”
