LYRICS:
(1)
El hermano mayor de Krishna es Balaram
Balaram Balaram
Balaram Balaram
(5)
Su eterna gloria no conoce final
Empezó con Goura el bello sankirtan
Ahí se llamaba Nitiananda Prabhu
y bailaba feliz con su dhoti azul
Balaram Balaram
Mostrando su misericordia sin igual
(6)
Salvó a todos con su amigo Haridas
Su gracia no nos deja de acompañar
Pues viene como el maestro espiritual
Balaram Balaram
(7A)
vahasi vapusi visade vasanam jaladabham
hala hati bhiti milita yamunabham
kesava dhrita haladhara rupa jaya jagadisa hare
(7B)
Tu brillante cuerpo blanco ropas color nube viste
Con tu arado al Yamuna causas temor
¡Oh Kesava! que como haladhar viniste
Gloria a ti señor de la creación
TRANSLATION
-
The elder brother of Lord Krsna is Balarama! Balarama! Balarama! He protects Krsna and never lets Him pass alone. Balarama Balarama! He is close with His friends as they leave after robbing homes and having their mother challenge amongst each other. Balarama! Balarama!
-
As Ananta Sesa Naga, He is a special servant. Atop His heads, He carries the universal creation.
-
With His thousands of mouths, He chants the glories of God. He is the seat, the bed, and the cord of the Supreme Brahman.
-
In His group of gopis, He likes to dance. He killed the gorilla demon. In carrying his plow, He is known as “Haladhara.” He chastised the Yamuna River. Balarama! Balarama!
-
No one recognizes an end to His eternal glories. It began with Lord Caitanya’s sweet sankirtana. Here, He is Nityananda Prabhu. He danced happily in His blue dhoti. He has shown His mercy without any equal.
-
He and His friend, Haridas, saved everyone. His grace did not leave us. He came in the form of the spiritual master.
-
O Kesava! O Lord of the universe! O Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of Balarama, the yielder of the prowl All glories to You! On Your brilliant white body You wear garments the color of a fresh blue rain cloud. These garments are colored like the beautiful dark hue of the River Yamuna, who feels great fear due to the striking of Your plowshare.
