nānopāyana-tāmbūla-gandhādi-vaṇig-arcita

jaya citrāyitāśeṣa-pura-strī-gaṇa-vīkṣaka

jaya praphulla-nayana līlā-hasita-locana

matta-nāgendra-gamana nāgarī-gaṇa-mohana

(3)

dhanuḥ-sthāna-prāśna-kara jayādbhuta-dhanur-dhara

līlā-sajjīkṛteṣvāsa kaḿsa-kodaṇḍa-khaṇḍana

(4)

dhanū-rakṣaka-vṛnda-ghna kaḿsa-preṣita-sainya-han

kaḿsātitrāsa-janaka śakaṭāvāsa-sańgata

TRANSLATION

O Lord Krsna, the mercantile men worshipped You by offering betel-nuts, aromatic scents and various presents, and all the amazed women gazed upon You. O Lord, all glories to You .

O Lord Krsna, all glories unto You . You enquired where Kamsa’s

wonderful bow was kept, (and arriving at that place), You

picked it up, playfully strung it, and broke it.
